Resume Analytics

The Dashboard home page displays real-time analytics about who is visiting your public resume. Knowing when and where people are looking at your page helps you understand which job applications or shares are driving traffic.

What Is Tracked

Every time someone visits your public ResiPage URL, ResiPage records:

• Timestamp — the date and time of the view.
• Location — city, region, and country, determined from the visitor's IP address via a server-side geolocation lookup.
• Device type — Desktop, Mobile, or Tablet, based on the User-Agent header.
• Browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.

Views from your own account are not counted — when you are logged in and view your own public page, the visit is skipped. Visits from localhost and internal network IPs are also excluded.

The Analytics Cards

The top of the dashboard home shows three summary cards:

• Total Views — all recorded page views.
• Unique Visitors — distinct visitor sessions.
• This Week — views recorded in the last 7 days.

Below the cards, a bar chart shows daily view volume over the past 30 days.

Recent Views Modal

Click View Details on any card to open a modal showing the last 10 individual views with their timestamp, location (city, region, country), device type, and browser. This is useful for identifying specific visits — for example, checking whether a recruiter from a particular company opened your link.

View Cap

ResiPage stores the most recent 500 views per user. When you reach 500, the oldest view is pruned to make room for the newest one. The running totals shown in the cards reflect all views since the cap was last reached, not a lifetime count.

Location Data Accuracy

Location data is determined from IP addresses and is accurate to the city level in most cases, though it can occasionally show a nearby city or a regional hub instead of the exact visitor location. VPN users may appear to be located in a different city or country entirely.
