Publishing and Sharing Your Resume

Learn how to go live with your ResiPage, share your unique URL, download a PDF, and control who can see your contact information.

Going Live

Your ResiPage is controlled by a Live / Offline toggle in the top bar of your dashboard. When the toggle shows a green dot and reads "Live," your resume is publicly accessible at your ResiPath URL. When it shows a red dot and reads "Offline," visitors see a placeholder page instead of your resume.

To toggle your page, simply click the Live/Offline button in the top bar — it is present on every dashboard page so you can go offline instantly at any time. There is no separate publish step for content; profile, experience, education, and other content changes appear on your live page the moment you save them in the dashboard.

Taking your page offline is useful if you are between jobs and do not want your current employer to see you are job-hunting, or if you are doing a major overhaul and want to complete it before going live again.

Sharing Your ResiPath URL

Your public resume URL is resipage.com/[youresipath]. You can share it anywhere:

  • Email signatures — add it as "My Resume:" followed by the URL
  • LinkedIn profile — paste it in the "Website" field of your profile
  • Business cards — short and memorable enough to print
  • Job applications — include it in your cover letter or resume header
  • Social media bios — Twitter/X, Instagram, and others support a profile link

Share Cards

The Share page in your dashboard generates pre-sized shareable banner images in multiple formats (social media banners, display ad sizes, and more) in both light and dark themes. Download them and drop them into posts or presentations to promote your ResiPage professionally.

Downloading a PDF

Go to Dashboard → PDF to export your resume as a print-ready PDF. The PDF page lets you:

  • Choose a Print Template — each of the 10 print templates is independently styled and can differ from your web template
  • Adjust colors, font sizes, column padding, and section visibility via the floating Settings panel
  • Reorder sections within the print layout using the Columns button in the PDF toolbar
  • Click Export PDF to download a Puppeteer-generated PDF of your resume
PDF settings (colors, fonts, visible sections, print template) are stored separately from your web template settings — changes here do not affect your online resume.

Contact Access Gating

By default, your phone number and email address are hidden from the public version of your resume. Visitors who want your contact details must click Request Access and submit their name and email. You will receive a notification and can approve or deny each request from Dashboard → Contacts.

When you approve a request, the visitor receives an email with a unique link that unlocks your contact info on your public page for that specific visitor. You never need to manually send your details.

The PDF Download button on your public page is also gated — it shows a lock icon and reads "PDF (contacts only)" until a visitor has been approved.

Contact gating protects your personal information while still making your resume professionally compelling. Recruiters who are serious will request access — it also tells you exactly who is interested.

View Live

Click the View Live button in the top-right corner of your dashboard to open your public resume in a new tab. This is the best way to see exactly what your visitors see.
