Choosing and Customizing a Template
Browse ResiPage's template library, apply a design, and customize colors, fonts, and layout to match your personal brand.
The Template Library
ResiPage includes a growing library of professionally designed base templates, most with a matching print template for PDF export. New templates are added regularly, and Pro members get every one. Think of them as polished starting points — every detail is yours to customize. Templates range from clean and minimal to bold and creative, covering a variety of industries and personal styles.
To browse and apply a template, go to Dashboard → Theme. You will see your currently active template at the top, and the full library displayed below in a grid.
Available templates include:
- Art Designer — bold left sidebar with accent color, great for creatives
- Elegant — clean two-column layout with refined typography
- Classic — traditional professional format, broad industry appeal
- Bold — strong header banner, high visual impact
- Graphic Designer — portfolio-forward with image-heavy layout
- Fun Clean — modern, approachable layout with color pops
- Fun Bold — expressive two-column layout with vivid accent
- Whimsical Medical — healthcare-themed decorative elements
- Dark Mode — sophisticated dark background for tech professionals
- Dark Mode 2 — alternative dark layout with a three-column header
Opening the Template Editor
Once you have selected a template, click Open Editor on the active template card. The editor opens in a full-screen split view: your live-preview resume on the right, and a panel of customization options on the left.
Changing the Accent Color
Every template has an accent color that drives borders, highlights, icons, and section heading decorations. In the editor, click the color swatch next to Accent Color to open the color picker. Drag the hue slider or paste a hex code directly. The preview updates in real time.
The editor stores your last five used colors as quick swatches for fast iteration. These are saved in your browser's local storage per template.
Adjusting Section Layout
Most templates support drag-and-drop section reordering. Click the Columns button (the two-columns icon) in the editor toolbar to open the Section Layout panel. Drag sections between the left and right columns to reorganize your resume structure. Changes are saved automatically.
Publishing Style Changes
Style changes (colors, layout) you make in the editor are saved as drafts. When you are happy with the result, click Publish in the editor toolbar to push the changes live to your public page. The "Published" badge will appear once your latest changes are live.
Prefer to start from a blank page?
If none of the templates fit your vision, ResiPage also offers the Canvas Builder (Pro) — a free-form, drag-and-drop editor where you design a one-page site from scratch. On the Theme page, switch from Template to Canvas.
